The University of Banja Luka will accept applications and supporting documentation for entrance examinations for enrolment in first-cycle study programs from 22 to 26 June 2026.
The entrance examination is scheduled for 29 June at 9:00 a.m., while at the Faculty of Medicine it will be held on the same day at 2:00 p.m. At the Academy of Arts, the entrance examination will take place from 29 June to 3 July, whereas at the Faculty of Security Sciences, it will be organized on 29 and 30 June, starting at 7:00 a.m.
The results of the admission competition will be published on 1 July, and enrolment of successful candidates will take place from 7 to 10 July. For English-language study programs at the Faculty of Medicine, the entrance examination will be held online on 29 June, while enrolment will be organized in September.
According to the Call for enrollment, the University plans to enroll 2,605 students in the first year of first-cycle studies in the 2026/2027 academic year, including 1,858 state-funded places, 423 self-financed places, 213 places for international students, and 111 part-time places.
At the second cycle, 971 students are planned for enrolment (523 state-funded, 254 self-financed, 98 international students, and 87 part-time students), while 167 candidates are planned for enrolment at the third cycle (135 self-financed, 31 international students, and one part-time student).
Second Admission Round
The second admission round will be held from 24 to 28 August, while the entrance examination is scheduled for 31 August at 9:00 a.m. Results will be published by 2 September, and enrolment will be completed by 11 September. For English-language study programs at the Faculty of Medicine, the second admission round will run from 3 to 28 August.
Applications for Second- and Third-Cycle Studies
Applications for the second and third cycle study programs will be accepted from 22 June to 2 October. Ranking lists will be published by 16 October, while enrolment is scheduled from 19 to 23 October.
Candidates applying for first-cycle studies are required to submit a birth certificate, proof of citizenship, transcripts from all years of secondary education, a diploma confirming completion of secondary education, and proof of payment of the application fee. Certain faculties also require additional medical certificates and supporting documents.
