    Learning objectives
    Acquiring scientific and academic skills in the field of theoretical and practical application of metabolic potential of microorganisms, plants and animals for the purpose of waste materials processing (in situ and ex situ), in accordance with modern trends in science and profession in this field.
    Learning outcomes
    Detailed knowledge of theory and techniques of creating optimal conditions for growth and multiplication of suitable microorganisms, as well as for the uninterrupted life cycle of plants and animals, and for the purpose of waste materials processing, independent organization of selected process, and knowledge of the latest scientific achievements in this field.
    Content
    Theoretical classes: Analysis of waste materials and site characteristics; study of the physiology of microorganisms, plants and animals on which the course and duration of the bioremediation process depend; detailed consideration and use of in situ and ex situ bioremediation techniques; detailed analysis of the cost-effectiveness of production processes. Practical classes Selection of bioremediation technique and definition of its goals and outcomes in accordance with the identified environmental problem; use of scientific and professional literature; analysis and discussion of the latest knowledge in this field; preparation and presentation of seminary work.

    Interactive lectures and consultations in groups or individually depending on the number of students; work on computer, use of electronic databases from the Internet, preparation and presentation of seminary work.
