Practical determination and analysis of the reliability of technical systems. Familiarization with standard failures, condition monitoring methods and measuring equipment. Mastery of methods for determining replacement and repair strategies, maintenance costs and inventory optimization. Familiarization with the possibilities of optimization of the maintenance system and application of information systems. Forecasting the direction of further maintenance development.
Learning outcomes | ||||
By mastering the study program, one masters the necessary knowledge and skills, optimization procedures, familiarization with measuring equipment, settings of information systems) for application in the organization of complex technical systems maintenance (analysis, synthesis, forecasting of solutions and forecasts of consequences, mastering of research methods, procedures and processes , development of critical and self-critical thinking and approach, application and use of knowledge in practice, professional ethics).
Content | ||||
Significance, organizational factors and structure of the maintenance system. Reliability of technical systems – element reliability until the first failure. Empirical determination of reliability of elements and reliability of complex systems. The recovery process and replacement and repair strategy. Replacement models. Categorization of works and planning of maintenance works. Standard breakdowns and machine condition monitoring methods. Methodology for searching for weak points. Maintenance costs. Spare parts. Stock optimization. Inventory management - deterministic and stochastic models. Determination of performance indicators of the maintenance system. Closed service system. Safety and health at work. Inspections and tests of work equipment. Examining the conditions of the working environment. Security of technical systems as an integral part of the reliability problem, assessment of the criticality of parts of technical systems, protection during maintenance work. The future of maintenance development.
Teaching Methods | ||||
Lectures in written and electronic form, auditory exercises in written and electronic form, examples of calculation tasks, computer support. Independent preparation and presentation of the seminar paper. As part of the class, the student will get to know more specific technical systems by visiting them in the field.
