Acquaintance with the theoretical foundations of the maintenance process of technical systems, strategic decisions, methods and organization of maintenance, methods of applying technical diagnostics, planning and management, application of information technologies with the use of databases, as well as optimization of maintenance costs.
Learning outcomes | ||||
The student gets a clear idea of the place and role of exploitation and maintenance of technical systems. Based on the given methods and organization of maintenance, the student is able to plan and manage the process of exploitation and maintenance of complex technical systems, using information technologies with the use of databases and available methods of technical diagnostics. Also, it can adequately respond to the necessary requirements related to safety and reliability in the process of exploitation and management.

For the selected initial parameters, the student should draw up an organizational chart of maintenance, then describe its connection with other production units of the company, as well as the way it functions. The knowledge test is realized with two colloquiums in the theoretical areas of teaching, examination and assessment of the seminar assignment and report on the visit to the industrial plant. The final exam refers only to theoretical questions. |
