University of Banja Luka Has Become a Member Observer of the Danube Rectors’ Conference

On 6 November 2020, the University of Banja Luka became a member observer of the Danube Rectors’ Conference.

The Danube Rectors’ Conference is a network of around 70 universities in the Danube Region.  

The main objectives of the Conference are to improve higher education in teaching and research, and in particular the advancement of the member universities by establishing and facilitating bilateral and multilateral contacts between the universities.

It pursues in particular the following activities: to coordinate the ideas and actions of its members through the exchange of information on issues of common interest, to promote cooperation on issues of common interest thereby to contribute to the stability and development of an open and democratic society in Europe, to act as a consultant by making appropriate recommendations on issues concerning universities.
