Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, Elected the Rector of University of Banja Luka

At its 74th special session on 29 November 2021, the University Senate unanimously elected Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, to the position of Rector of the University of Banja Luka.

,,We are facing new challenges, first of all to improve the teaching process at the University, to innovate, license and relicense study programmes, and to adapt student output competencies to market needs.“, the rector said and thanked the members of the Senate for their confidence.

,,In the forthcoming period, the goal is to improve the international cooperation of the University, and to take part in a greater number of EU-funded projects, as well as to have greater international exchange of students, professors and staff,“ Gajanin said in a press statement after the 74th special Senate session, held in the lecturing hall of the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Banja Luka.

,,As the rector, I am sure that we will achieve that, having in mind the competencies of the heads, that is, the deans and the director of the Institute, who are ready to respond to all challenges.“, the rector said.

Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, was elected to the position of Rector of the University of Banja Luka on 20 March 2018. From 10 November 2017, he held the position of Acting Rector of the University of Banja Luka, and before that he was the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development of the University.
