Vice-Rector Malinović Attended the Youth Conference in the Republic of Srpska

Vice-Rector for Research and Development of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Miroslav Malinović, PhD, attended on 29 April 2022 the conference "Youth in the Republic of Srpska, our Present".

The conference held at the ’Banski dvor’ Cultural Centre in Banja Luka was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković.

During the conference, among other issues, the programmes ’3D Academy’ and ’My Practice’ were discussed. As stated, it is a successful policy of training and employment of young people, which is jointly implemented by the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Centre of the University of Banja Luka and the Innovation Centre Banja Luka, with the support of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Srpska.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Srpska, with the aim to present to the public and young people from different angles programmes and opportunities for successful development of young people's entrepreneurship, economic independence, competitiveness in the market and to inform them about the opportunities offered to them. Thus, within the conference, the following panel discussions were held – ’Support to the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship as Support for the Stay of the Youth in the Republic of Srpska’, ’Population Policy and the Youth’, and ’Significance and Justification of Forming a Sports Secondary School Department to Improve Conditions for Young People Interested in Sports’.

Minister of Family, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Srpska Sonja Davidović, Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Zlatan Klokić, Minister of Youth and Sports of Serbia Vanja Udovičić and others attended the conference. In addition to Vice-Rector Malinović, the event was attended by Predrag Govedarica, Senior Entrepreneurship Development Associate, who was there on behalf of the University of Banja Luka.
