Rector Talked with the CEO of Huawei for BH

Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and CEO of Huawei for Bosnia and Herzegovina Xu Kun met on 23 August 2022 and talked about organizing the promotion of the global project ,,Seeds for the Futureˮ at our higher education institution.

As agreed at the meeting in the Rector's Office, the plan is to organize a promotion event of the "Seeds for the Future" project for all students of the University of Banja Luka interested in the development of 5G networks in mid-September, all with the aim of getting as many students as possible to apply for this programme.

As stated, the best participants of this programme will have the opportunity to participate in the Huawei talent summit in Greece in December. They also discussed a possible visit to the logistics centre and 5G factory of Huawei, which is headquartered in Hungary.

Moreover, the rector emphasized that the University of Banja Luka and this Chinese company have cooperated in the past, and that the plan is to strengthen the cooperation in the forthcoming period.

The meeting between Rector Gajanin and Director Xu Kun was attended by Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Miroslav Malinović, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Prof. Zoran Đurić, PhD, and Director of Public Relations and Communications of Huawei for Bosnia and Herzegovina Zećir Kasumić.
