The best students of the final years of studies at the faculties/Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka were on a study visit to Vienna from 2 to 5 March 2023.
During this visit, our students had the opportunity to visit the University of Vienna, the City Hall, and the Parliament of Austria. Furthermore, the students visited the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, and attended the reception on the occasion of the promulgation of the first Constitution of the Republic of Srpska, as well as the OSCE Head Office in Vienna, and spoke with the Ambassador Sinisa Bencun, Head of Mission, Permanent Mission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the OSCE.
Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Development of the University Prof. Miroslav Malinović, PhD, says that this visit was organized with the support of the Head of the RS Representative Office in Austria Mladen Filipović, M.Sc.
,,This visit was a reward for the work, effort and commitment of our students during their studies, but also an opportunity to get to know each other and visit relevant institutions. I believe that together with the RS Representative Office in Austria, we will continue such activities in the years ahead of usˮ, Vice-Rector Malinović said.
,,The study visit to Vienna was of an educational and touristic nature, because in addition to tourist attractions, such as the Belvedere Palace and Schönbrunn Palace, we had the opportunity to visit important institutions. The visit is an incentive for all of us, but also a message to all our colleagues that hard work always pays offˮ, the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka student Marko Solomun said.
On the last day of their stay in Vienna, the students had the opportunity to take a guided tour by Zlatan Stojadinović on a unique historical-tourist tour called "In the Footsteps of the Serbs in Vienna".
