Participation in the BESTPRAC Network Meeting

Head of the Research Development and Support Centre at the University of Banja Luka, Anđela Pepić, PhD, participated on 18 and 20 September 2023 in the joint meeting of the thematic groups BESTPRAC and EARMAImpact.

During the two-day event held in Ljubljana, the experiences and practical examples of various European research institutions concerning the implementation of Horizon Europe and other European projects were exchanged. The introduction of the principles of open science and the financial management of projects in accordance with the requirements of financiers were also discussed. Participation in such meetings enables the exchange of knowledge and practices in the management of Horizon Europe projects, as well as networking with institutions from Europe, and ultimately enables greater visibility of the University of Banja Luka within the European research area.

The BESTPRAC network, which functions as a thematic group within the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA), gathers more than 600 research managers and administrators from various research and higher education institutions across Europe, and is a continuation of the COST action "TN1302 BESTPRAC - The Voice of Research Administrators: Building a network of excellence" in which representatives of the University of Banja Luka also took an active part.
