Rector Gajanin Participated in the European Congress of Pathology
University of Banja LukaGeneralRector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, took an active part in the 36th European Congress of Pathology, which was held in Florence in September 2024.
Thus, the rector presented two papers in Florence: Expression of p16INK4a, FLOT2, and EGFR in laryngeal carcinoma, prognostic signifi cance and correlation with clinicopathological characteristics and Prognostic significance of FLOT2 expression in cervical carcinoma.
This year's main theme of the congress, held in a hybrid model with over 5,700 participants from 100 countries, was "Multidimensional Pathology - the Cornerstone of Modern Diagnostics". The event was dominated by topics related to molecular pathology, digital and computer pathology, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in pathology.
The organizer of the event is the European Society for Pathology, based in Brussels, founded in 1963, which today has several thousand members and represents the leading European force in pathology.
