Cooperation between UNIBL and „Vinča“ Institute

Rector of the University of Banja Luka, prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, and Assistant Director of the Institute for nuclear sciences „Vinča“, Marija Janković, signed an agreement on cooperation between the tow institutions on 7 November 2024.

As it stands in the text of the agreement signed in the Rector's Cabinet, the two institutions shall work on exchange and mobility of researchers, teaching and administrative staff, as well as students of all study cycles in the next five years. It is also plan further development and improvement of study programs, mutual participation in projects, innovations and transfer of knowledge and technologies. The plan is to join forces to organize events such as educational and expert conferences, as well as publishing activity.

Along with this agreement, Rector Gajanin and Assistant Director Janković also signed the Agreement on cooperation on realization of activities within the Darwin collaboration. Since „Vinča“ Institute is a part of Darwin collaboration, this agreement defines the participation of academic staff of our university in the Darwin collaboration.

Signing of the agreement was attended by the Chairman of the University of Banja Luka Steering Board, prof. Biljana Antunović, PhD, Vice-Rector for International and Inter-University Cooperation, prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD, representatives of „Vinča“ Institute, Dr. Mila Pandurović, Dr. Predrag Škobalj, Dr. Milan Ljušić and Dr. Marija Šljivić Ivanović.
