The Project „Ris Briefcase“ in the final stage

The Project RIS BRIEFCASE, in which the University of Banja Luka has been participating for two years now, is reaching its final stage in the coming months.

Summing up the results, preparing reports and publications, as well as finalization of creative activities of the Project, is planned for the upcoming period. There will also be a plan for the next joint application by this international consortium.

The representatives of the „Gomes Pardo” Foundation from Seville, which is the coordinator of the Project, along with the teams from Greece, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Great Britain, Estonia, Portugal, and North Macedonia, recently visited the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Banja Luka, which hosted the final meeting agreeing on the activities yet to be performed.

The guests were also able to visit the limestone mine and lime production facility „Carmeuse” in Doboj, the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka, the Botanical garden in the UNIBL Campus, and the Science-technological Park of the Republic of Srpska. The visit also included Prijedor, where the guests were acquainted with the mining tradition of this region and participated in the Faculty of Mining manifestation „A leap over the leather“.
