The condition for attending the course is as follows: passed exam of Architectural constructions 1, attended on Architectural constructions 2 (min. 80% of the attendance of lectures) and the threshold realized in the exercises from Architectural constructions 2. | Student must have min. 25.5 points from graphic works on exercises from Architectural constructions 2, which includes student`s attendance (min. 80%).
Learning objectives | ||||
The objective of the course is to familiarize students with contemporary principles and methods of designing materialization of architectural buildings with reinforced concrete bearing construction. The components and subsystems of the materialization of monolithic, semi-reconstructed and prefabricated buildings are analyzed and consider the different possibilities of materializing the facades in terms of type of materials and construction techniques.
Learning outcomes | ||||
Prior to coming to the exercise, students need to get to know the problem that is being addressed in the exercises, through attendance at lectures and studying the recommended literature. After completion of this course, students will be able to project cast (monolithic), semi-refined and prefabricated reinforced concrete systems without the application of static calculation, with approximation calculations. Applying previously acquired knowledge of the details of constructive elements in the first year (AK 1 and AK 2), the student will design the constructive and architectural basics, cross-sections, prospects and typical technical details of the given residential buildings or administrative buildings, shopping centers or department stores, buildings requiring more constructive ranges (more than 6 m) and different facade materialization possibilities, rather than being studied and projected in the first year.
Content | ||||
Reinforced concrete cast buildings - masonry and skeleton system; Reinforced concrete skeleton buildings - types of inter-floor ceilings, panel reinforced concrete ceilings; Ribs reinforced concrete ceilings; Reinforced concrete vertical construction elements - columns and walls; Twisting from forced building - horizontal load forces; Dilatation; Foundation for skeleton buildings; Types of shallow and deep foundation; Materialization of facade of skeletal buildings - requirements of function, technical and design ; Types of curtain wall facades; Facade with brick, stone, ceramics, etc .; Materialization of roofs reinforced concrete buildings; Basics of industrialized construction. Reinforced concrete prefabricated systems - types; Skeleton reinforced concrete prefabricated construction system; Panel reinforced concrete prefabricated construction systems; Classification of panel; Mounting plans, types of networks, encryption of elements; Prefabricated reinforced concrete facades; Semi-reconstructed facades; Prefabricated stairs; Cellular systems
Teaching Methods | ||||
Lectures, interactive classes and exercises - graphic works, consultations. Learning and independent production of graphic works.

Evaluation and grading
Two independent graphic works, including student`s activity, are scored in total with a maximum of 50 points (maximum 25 points for each graphic work). The exam is rated with a maximum of 50 points. A passing grade is obtained if you collectively accumulate up to 51 points. Attendance continued at least 80%, done and rated graphic works (total of 2 graphic works with max. 50 points), cumulatively rated with minimum 51% of max. number of points (ie 25.5 points from 2 graphic works). A student who is unjustifiably absent from teaching more than 20% and does not pass at exercises min. 25.5 points, must renew the listening of the subject.
Specific remarks | ||||
Exercises take place in groups. Before the start of each exercise, students are provided with a detailed program for each graphic work, the content of the graphic work, and the conditions and deadlines for receiving graphic works. |
