Learning objectives | ||||
Introducing students to modern installation systems in buildings, mutual coordination and the necessary space within the building. The special orientation of the course is to get acquainted with networks and devices of other types of installations in architectural objects, and to the extent that designers need for appropriate selection and dimensioning of installation systems for objects of different purposes, as well as coordination with designers of these types of installations. | ||||
Learning outcomes | ||||
Knowledge of the application and design of various installation systems in the construction of architectural structures is useful for mastering materials from other construction disciplines, and for the preparation of seminar and final papers. The acquired knowledge is applicable for solving practical (professional) problems. | ||||

Introductory part (course assignment, mode of work, literature, other). Basic elements of functional organization of sanitary groups, spatial needs for sanitary devices. Low and high current electrical installations. Lighting and lighting elements. HVAC installations. Heating and appliances. Ventilation and appliances. Air conditioning and appliances. Garbage disposal from buildings. Gas installations and devices. Solar installations. Elevator shafts. | ||||
Teaching Methods | ||||
Lectures and exercises. The exercises monitor the involvement and activity of students through the continuous development of the semester assignment. The quality of teaching is fully checked by surveying students. | ||||

Evaluation and grading | ||||
Independent preparation and defense of 2 assignments during the semester is mandatory. Students who do not pass the colloquia during the semester, take remedial colloquia in terms of regular exam deadlines. Pre-exam obligations: Attendance and activity in classes - 5 points Seminar paper - 15 points Graphic work - 60 points Final exam - 20 points | ||||
