Learning objectives | ||||
There are two main goals of studying this subject: the first is for students to become familiar with the history, constitutional structure and functioning of the political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, and the second is for students to learn to critically analyze the political processes taking place in the state and entity. The political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the way it was constructed in the Dayton Agreement - is specific in many ways compared to what is considered common in political theory, and it is confusing because of the way it practically works. Namely, the system functions with such great stress and with a huge consumption of energy that some even question the long-term possibility of survival of such a wasteful system. Therefore, students must be trained to objectively understand, analyze and evaluate all political relations, processes and structures in BiH and RS.
Learning outcomes | ||||
