Conference on Gender Equality Held

Scientific-professional conference ’Gender Equality at Universities: Theoretical Perspectives, Institutional Action and Social Engagement’ was held on 26 and 27 May 2022 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka.

During this conference, which was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Material and Human Resources of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, participants presented their scientific research, published papers, and projects within the framework of non-governmental organizations. In addition to promoting science in the community and cooperation between universities and civil society, the goal of the event was to educate the academic and administrative staff as well as students.

The conference was organized by the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Philosophy, with the support of the Advisory Board for Gender Equality at the University of Banja Luka. The co-organizer of the conference was the Transcultural Psychosocial Educational Foundation from Sarajevo, and within the project Introduction of Gender Mainstreaming in Higher Education (University and Gender Mainstreaming - UNIGEM).
