Scientific Seminar on Demographic Policy

The online seminar "Demographic Policy in Russia, Serbia, Republic of Srpska and Montenegro - Challenges and Perspectives" was held on 26 January 2024.

This online event was organized by the School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Economics and Management of the Ural Federal University, the Center for Russian Studies at Belgrade’s Faculty of Political Sciences and the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Banja Luka.

The event was moderated by the Director of the School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship Aleksey Konstatinovich Klyujev, and among those present was his deputy Ana Petrovna Bagorova, and the Head of the Center for Russian Research at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade Prof. Siniša Atlagić, PhD.

The seminar was also attended by representatives of the University of Banja Luka: Dean of the Faculty of Political Science Prof. Ranka Romić Perić, PhD, Prof. Mira Mandić, PhD, and  Aleksandar Majić, PhD, from the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics.

Glavni fokus kako ovog seminara tako i sledećih koji su planirani

The scientific seminar was organized with the aim of further strengthening, exchange of experiences, discussion of issues and joint coping with current challenges. This seminar is the result of a common desire to discuss the possibilities of joint interdisciplinary research and publication of their results in regular peer meetings, as well as promoting joint cooperation. The main focus of this seminar and any other seminar planned will be the research of regional social policies (demographic, youth, educational, territorial development, etc.), as well as public administration, interactions between authorities and communities.
