PMF realized the highest mobility in CEPPUS network
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of Banja Luka University (PMF UNIBL) realized the highest mobility during the last year within CEEPUS network “Tourism and Agriculture Sustainable Alliances - #TASA network”.
This was stated by the chief coordinator of this network, a docent at the Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor, Dr. Lazar Pavic, on a coordinator’s meeting in Kotor held from 25 to 29 June 2024, hosted by Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management of the University of Montenegro, with its seat in Kotor.
This event gathered 27 lecturers from 15 partner institutions from 11 countries, and representatives of PMF UNIBL – network coordinator prof. Irena Medar-Tanjga, PhD, Dean of PMF prof. Radoslav Dekic, and Vice-dean for teaching process, prof. Aleksandra Petrasevic, PhD, were also present.
During this five-day event, a number of workshops were held to analyze the network and to research the possibilities for future activities, with special focus on strengthening mobility and academic cooperation. The event was enriched by an additional program prepared by the host party, headed by CEEPUS coordinator of the Faculty for Tourism and Hotel
Management in Kotor, Dr. Jovan Janinovic. There was an organized tour of Kotor, visit to Boka aquarium, boat excursion to our Lady of Skrpijela and Perast, and a ride in panoramic cable car Kotor-Lovcen.
The PMF UNIBL, with its visit to Slovenia realized through CEEPUS #TASA network in the period 13 to 18 May 2024 realized the highest mobility within all active CEEPUS networks at University of Banja Luka. This mobility included 31 students and 5 professors from study program Geography and study program Spatial planning.
