    Theoretical understanding of peaceful conflict resolution and application of mediation in certain areas of social work.
    Learning outcomes
    Understanding the positive aspects of conflict; understanding the role of mediators in conflicts; identifying the main preconditions for a peaceful resolution of the conflict; theoretical and practical understanding of nonviolent communication; understanding the key features of mediation; understanding the specific features of mediation; application of mediation in certain areas of social work.

    Theoretical understandings and types of conflicts; Mediation models; Conflict resolution with the help of a third party; Assertiveness as a factor in peaceful conflict resolution; Conflict styles as a factor in peaceful conflict resolution; Nonviolent communication as a factor in peaceful conflict resolution; The concept of mediation; Basic principles of mediation; Stages of the mediation process; Mediation skills; Abilities and skills of mediators; Development of mediation in the world and in our country; Legal basis for mediation; Areas of mediation in social work; Sensitization for mediation.
