Learning objectives | ||||
Introducing students to the theoretical and practical knowledge of the preparatory and auxiliary processes of preparation of mineral raw materials, especially during the crushing and drainage of products. The goal is for students to gain the ability to participate in the management of the processes they study within this course. | ||||

INTRODUCTION (Course content, place and role of MRP in valorization of mineral raw materials. Classification of PMS process: preparatory, basic and auxiliary. Economic base, characteristics of raw materials and mineral components important for MRP, technological process indicators and description of MRP process.PREPARATORY PROCESSES.Theoretical bases of comminution, mechanical properties of solids, laws of comminution, effect of comminution.Crushing, classification of crushing process, crushing forces. Grinding, specifics of the grinding process by grinding.Classification of mineral raw materials by size. Energy efficiency of shredding and grading processes.NTRODUCTION TO BASIC PROCESSES.AUXILIARY PROCESSES | ||||
