The basic aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the basic processes and procedures that must be done when optimizing and planning the underground mines. | ||||

Content | ||||
The mining-geological conditions of influence on the design and technology of underground roadways construction. Geological and hydrogeological characteristics of the rock massif. Rock mining engineering research. Rock mass classification. Analysis of stress-strain state in the rock massif before and after the construction of the underground roadways. Analytical and experimental methods of the ground pressure studying. Construction of the underground roadways of infrastructural character (tunnels, chambers, underground stores, garages). Technology for underground roadways construction. Support modes of underground roadways. Construction of the underground roadways by contour blasting and explosives. Design of underground roadways in complex engineering-geological conditions. Analysis of commonly used support structures, conditions of their application and sizing of the support. | ||||
