A Prize for the Rector’s Wine of the University of Banja Luka at Maribor International Competition
University of Banja LukaGeneralThe Rector’s wine of the University of Banja Luka was declared the best in the red wine category at the 10th International University Wine Competition, traditionally held on the occasion of the University of Maribor Day (Slovenia), while the one in the white wine category won the second place.
The aim of this unique competition in global terms is strengthening ties between universities, especially in the vine-growing and wine-producing industries, with a view to building a European network.
The prize-winning ceremony was held on September 17, with Prof. Milan Mataruga, Rector of the University, receiving the certificates for the two labels from the Jungic Winery, developed in order to promote not only the said winery, but also the University of Banja Luka and the City of Banja Luka as well.
