Reception for the Rector of the Masaryk University in Brno

Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, organized a reception for the rector of the Masaryk University in Brno, Prof. Martin Bareš, PhD.

During the cordial reception at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, which was attended by the vice-rectors of our university, Prof. Dalibor Kesić, PhD, and Prof. Milica Balaban, PhD, and Vice-Rector for Internationalization of Masaryk University Prof. Petr Suchy, PhD, the strengthening of cooperation between the two higher education institutions was discussed.

As said at the meeting, cooperation with Masaryk University in Brno has existed since 2019 within the Erasmus+ component related to international exchanges. It refers to the exchange of students and academic staff, and in several calls our students were mostly interested in staying at Masaryk University.

Masaryk University in Brno is the second largest university in the Czech Republic, founded in 1919, which consists of ten faculties, with more than 35,000 students studying in 150 study programmes. On the Shanghai list, this university is ranked between the 401st and 500th place.
